- DOE
Technical Standards The Office of Worker Health and Safety
(EH-5) has published two handbooks for use by DOE contractors
managing facilities and processes covered by OSHA's Rule for Process
Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals. The PSM Rule
contains an integrated set of chemical process safety management
elements designed to prevent chemical releases that can lead to
catastrophic fires, explosions, or toxic exposures.
- DOE published a sample Process
Hazards Analysis. Ken Murphy, 301-903-6514, (kenneth.murphy@hq.doe.gov)
is the point of contact for copies of this report until it is
available online.
